Collections Clerk

Will be working in reimbursement department. Will be working collections; either off of a remittance advice/explanation of benefits we have received from the insurance company or off of a printout of our outstanding A/R.

-Will be working over the phone, making calls to the insurance companies and via internet.
-Checking for claims status for claims that have been mailed out over 30-days prior to calling.
-Entering all documentation and notation into custom database, Emphasis. (willing to train). Also working with internet, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications:
-Must be detail oriented and organized
-Need experience in collections. If have medical billing experience- bonus.
-Quick learner
-Go-getter personality and willing to be taught
-Need a team player and someone that will take on tasks of those who are out.

Very casual atmosphere.
