QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid driver?s license and an acceptable driving record to meet corporate carrier?s requirements.
Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor?s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred.
Minimum of two year?s experience in collection activities in the financial services or leasing industry.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to bring assigned collection accounts to a successful, final resolution.
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as payment computations, interest charges, internal rates of return, present value, amortization, etc.
Proficient with office equipment in a Microsoft based environment.
Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily telephone and written contact with customers who owe Balboa outstanding debts.
Perform customer file reviews to determine the best course of action in collecting the outstanding debt.
Make recommendations for litigation of past due customers.
Work closely with Customer Service to resolve customer issue that may arise.
