Collections Specialist

ONLY CANDIDATES WITH COLLECTIONS EXPERIENCE IN A MORTGAGE ENVIRONMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED.  Bi-lingual language skills a huge plus

Candidates will be considered for front and back end collections. 

Review delinquent files, and contact customers to collect overdue payments.
Identify and attempt to resolve reasons for delinquency.
Communicate basic loan restructuring possibilities to assist customers in resolving delinquency and avoiding foreclosure.
Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures.
Experience in negotiation, sales highly desired.


Skills & Knowledge
Basic knowledge of mortgage operations, loan files, payments and collection requirements.
Ability to operate an automated online collections system
Ability to present a professional image and demeanor to internal and external customers
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers
Basic knowledge of PCs and related software such as Excel and Word
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material
