Collector

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

? Contacting delinquent accounts for the collection of past due lease receivables, taxes, miscellaneous fees and late charges including coordination with Brokers/Vendors as requested.

? Prepare all collection correspondence including default letters as defined by department procedures.

? Recommend work out arrangements on delinquent accounts as defined by department procedures.

? Gather initial information for the Credit Department to make an informed decision regarding Lease Transfers, Modifications or Extensions on past due accounts.

? Assist with Customer Service issues as they relate to the collection of the account. 

? Follow up with ICFEF staff as needed regarding disputed Personal Property Tax and other fees.

? Assist accounting as needed with cash application identification.

? Prepare monthly delinquency and status reports.

? Completes other Collection related functions as directed by the Collections Supervisor.Qualifications

 

? Two (2) years? experience as a commercial collector/workout specialist, preferably in the Small Ticket Leasing industry.

? Outstanding interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

? Excellent organizational skills and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and priorities.

? Strong problem solving and negotiating skills.

? Able to work independently.
