Commercial Account Manager

Equity One is searching for an EXPERIENCED Commercial Account Manager. 

 

The Account Manager establishes and maintains relationships with brokers and customers, which provides an income stream for Equity One.   The purpose of the position is to originate Commercial Real Estate Equity One loan programs to meet individual and branch production goals.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

?  As an outside sales persona, solicit new business while retaining and building relationships with current brokers and customers

?  Transition self-developed leads to originate and close loans to meet production goals.

?  Work with Loan Facilitator to negotiate with brokers and underwriters about terms and requirements

?  Network with brokers to increase the potential business with Equity One

?  Build relationships with mortgage brokers and customers resulting in confidence with Equity One products

?  Keep up to date on all product and policy changes

?  Create new and effective marketing strategies

?  Troubleshoot with problems that arise on a daily basis and bring to resolution

?  Evaluate perspective loans, generates and closes loans.

?  Work with Loan Facilitator to process, follow-up and track all loans

 









QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum)

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

1.  Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience preferred

2.  2-4 years mortgage/ banking sales

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT/SKILLS: 

1.  An understanding of small business and commercial real estate transactions.

2.  Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills.

3.  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high volume, goal oriented work environment

4.  Strong organizational skills

5.  Exceptional ability to work independently

6.  Ability to follow up and ensure commitments are met or exceeded

7.  You may be required to maintain access to internet, fax & phone
