Arbella is looking for a motivated self-Starter to join our team:

 

Under minimal direction, the Analyst will:

 conduct analyses of competitors in the property and casualty insurance sector.  learn and communicate key business practices of significant (personal lines?) competitors.  performs extensive pricing comparisonsanalyze internal management information and financial reports, and compares rates, rate structures, underwriting and product offerings for existing and new personal insurance lines of business.  use custom price comparison software to develop price comparisons.  conducts broad competitive reviews of key competitors, maintaining comparison data of their product offering, pricing, promotional and distribution efforts.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

Education equivalent to college degree in business, economics, or mathematics and five years of related work experience. 

 A sound basic understanding of insurance including personal lines pricing structures, underwriting, coverage and basic financial statement analysis is required. 

Strong computer skills including Excel and experience with Access, and comfort learning and using different software packages is also required.
