Summary of Responsibilities:

Major Duties and Functions Include:
Responsible for reviewing field and company produced advertising and sales material relating to insurance and securities products to ensure that the material complies to applicable NASD, SEC, NAIC, and state insurance and securities regulations (on the job training will be provided).
Review material for identification of potential issues relating to marketing/sales practices and taking corrective action to address.
Assist with educating the field force and home office personnel (submitters of material) about the rules and regulations dealing with advertising and sales material.
Ensure that sales materials submitted for review are processed in a timely manner.
Interact daily with the field force and home office personnel on sales material and compliance-related issues.
Handle ad hoc compliance-related projects. What You Need to Succeed:


Experienced professional with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills.
NASD Series 7 and 24 licenses preferred. Required within one year of hire. Currently having a Series 6/26 is a plus.
Knowledge of life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and general securities products required.
Working knowledge of insurance and securities regulations and how they apply to the sales force and buying public a plus.
Have an understanding of the financial services industry with particular emphasis on compliance perspective.
The ability to work effectively with people at all levels is essential.
Prior sales material/advertising review or compliance experience a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
