Contract Drafter

Responsible for all aspects of a Product Development project (e.g., drafting policy and related forms, researching laws and regulations, developing the Filing Strategy, doing research on state variations, creating state variations, completing assigned Checklists, etc.). Fully responsible for some entire projects. Responsible for providing support to a Sr. Consultant and his/her associated projects on other projects.

 
Responsible for responding to state letters of comment on assigned projects and, as needed, on others? projects.
Responsible for identifying and researching state requirements on issues on assigned projects.
 Responsible for reviewing new and proposed legislation and determining its impact on the Enterprise IB Life.
Responsible for responding to requests from Departments of Insurance and others within the Enterprise.
Responsible for an in-depth understanding of the filing and product development process.
Responsible for continually process managing the product development process.
Responsible for coordinating UAT for assigned project and for helping with UAT on others? assigned projects, as needed.

Experience:
Must have 2 ? 5 years experience in the product development process or demonstrated competence
Advanced Word skills; Proficiency in Excel and Access
Ability to adapt and work efficiently within a variety of situations
