Conversion Implementation Specialist

SUMMARY :  The primary role of the Conversion Implementation Specialist is to facilitate the set-up, testing and implementation for all conversions, mergers and acquisitions.  The Conversion Implementation Specialist also completes quality control checks for team members and acts as a mentor and resource for other team members.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with clients to set-up, test and implement payroll formats and transmissions and related reporting requirements
Attend initial and on-going client meetings to discuss systems capabilities and constraints
Write requirement documents for IT for BAR documentation for client payroll enhancements 
Test all payroll set-up to ensure accuracy in (OmniPlus, GUI and ROL) and perform payroll audit and peer review
Process initial production payroll and hand-off to Cash Receipt Specialist, providing assistance as the initial payroll is posted
Provide technical system support for the Payroll GUI systems 
Create and update procedures, checklists and test scripts
Complete quality control check for team members set-up and testing.  Audit payroll set up for new and existing clients
Operate at a Level 5 Sigma of accuracy
Track time spent on various tasks accurately and efficiently on a weekly basis
Assist in gathering and entering data to support CASS Conversion Team metrics and ensure it is up to date

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
o 3-5 years of experience in financial industry, with payroll set up and processing knowledge. 

o At least two years experience working with OmniPlus or other recordkeeping software and knowledge of defined contribution plans preferred

o Working knowledge of the GUI Payroll system preferred.

o Proven ability to work effectively with business clients and systems staff

o In-depth understanding of operational area and JPMC product offering

o Proven analytical ability

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:
o Normal office environment.
o Minimal travel required.
o Occasional overtime may be required (5-10 hours per week during peak times).
