Corporate Controller to $100k – Bonus Potential and Free Parking
Our client, a small professional services firm, is looking for a CPA who is a hands on individual and would like to take ownership over this excellent opportunity. As Controller, reporting directly to the CFO, the individual will participate as a key member of the finance leadership team to drive financial results as well as continuous operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Maintaining the financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training, and monitoring job performance of employees.
- Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures. Analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions and identifying expense management opportunities.
- Responsible for collections, audits, and monthly closings.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum ten years of financial and accounting related experience and prior controllership experience.
- Experience with financial software, QuickBooks, Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
