Corporate Controls and Reporting

Role: Coordinate overall business and financial controls and systems of Bridgeway Capital Management

Responsibilities:
? To support corporate financial operations including
o Coordinating relationship with outsourced corporate accounting vendor
o Providing overall cash management oversight and controls for the Adviser, including line of credit analysis and banking relationships
o Developing and maintaining an annual budget and variance reporting system
o Documenting and maintaining corporate accounting procedures
o Coordinating annual corporate audit process
o Coordinating quarterly and annual tax payments with outside tax preparer
o Managing business insurance requirements
o Fulfilling the duties of Treasurer of Bridgeway Capital Management and Bridgeway Charitable Foundation
? To support corporate operations and strategic projects
o Developing and coordinating annual corporate calendar
o Developing, maintaining & proactively communicating business reports such as the corporate dashboard
o Tracking and maintaining benchmarks for relative peer performance
o Facilitating the set up of new separate accounts and contract renewals
o Developing, maintaining and communicating standard operating guidelines
o Coordinating annual independent valuation
o Maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans and coordinating periodic testing
? To support corporate structure and filings
o Maintaining corporate by-laws and Articles
o Tracking/maintaining corporate ownership and share holdings
o Participating in KSOP Committee and managing third party vendors
? To provide financial oversight for Bridgeway Charitable Foundation (501c3)
o Preparing and reviewing financial reports to the Committees and Board
o Providing ongoing giving targets to Foundation Board
o Managing financial reporting and tax reporting
? To coordinate technology activity and needs
o Chairing technology committee
o Managing third party service providers for information technology needs

Skills
? Strong financial skills

? Ability and desire to work in relatively flat, participative organizational structure
? Must live in the Houston area

Experience/Education
? Accounting or Finance degree
? Minimum ten years experience in business controls and reporting
? Experience as a corporate Treasurer, a plus
? MBA and/or CPA, a positive
? Financial services experience preferred
? 501c3 accounting and reporting experience preferred
? Demonstrated interest in community
