Senior level/experienced credit position responsible for managing credit relationships and maintaining the credit quality of a specific portfolio of top-tier MLBFS loan clients.  This position must qualify for credit authority, and will report directly to the Credit Relationship Manager.

? Perform necessary credit underwriting/due diligence of customers to assess their performance and credit worthiness

? Prepare formal credit recommendations with respect to renewal and increase request decisions

? Complete Term Loan and LFT Reviews for existing customers within portfolio

? Process extensions of renewals through Web Deal and prepare extension letters to be sent to the Customers

? Amendments to existing facilities

? Notify the sales force (FM/FA) of any material change to the relationship or other pending issues

? Negotiate changes with the sales force

? Engage in periodic Customer communication via phone, email and letters

? Update all correspondence with the Customer in the Client Communication database (Web Deal)

? Lead approval/decision discussions with managers

? Identify liability management opportunities

? Review covenants and address covenant violations

? Complete and/or review spreads and address any material issues

? Address FBL relationships

? Check decline review

? Address any other over-utilization or past due payments

? ASAP request review

? Review and execute the various Portfolio Letters

? Visit clients, as appropriate 

? Provide training/mentoring to less experienced staff

? Update Risk Ratings

? Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree, preferably with major in accounting or financeA minimum of 5 to 7 years of credit underwriting and bank relationship management experienceFormal commercial bank credit training, or equivalent experience Advance knowledge of tax returns and financial statements with proficiency in spreading both Possess a combination of strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, with a history of meeting or exceeding goalsGood organization skills ? Ability to multi-taskSome travel required
