RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with the processing of credit loan applications and renewals
-Working with an Alternate/Credit Administration Officer, a Credit Specialist assists the Lenders and Credit Analysts in the preparation of financial statement spreading, loan requests, monitoring loan covenants, collateral analysis, and cash flow analysis, all of which become part of the final approval package, which may be presented to loan committees.
-A Credit Specialist is also responsible for various departmental functions, including reporting (loan covenant tracking, statement tracking, risk rating, and credit reviews), credit file maintenance, and LAN administration.


QUALIFICATIONS:
-Two college level accounting classes
-Accounting experience preferred
-Demonstrated understanding of financial statements
-Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software
-Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
-Customer service oriented
-Minimum of one year in a detailed oriented position preferred
-College students or candidates with an Associates degree in Business preferred
