Custody Operations Analyst- $40K
Excellent asset management firm seeks a Custody Operations Analyst to work within the Cash Operations Group and confirm, instruct foreign exchange contracts in a timely and accurate manner.  Act as a liaison between firm?s brokers and custodians to ensure all trade details are agreed upon and positioned for settlement.  Handle all settlement aspects of the securities lending and borrowing functions including instruction processing, problem resolution and position reconciliation.  Act as a liaison between settlement, accounting, trading and reconciliation departments to ensure all identified exceptions are timely and accurately resolved.  Monitor and initiate necessary actions in response to updates and create a variety of reports (including settlement statistics, STP statistics, market restrictions and quarterly reporting).

Qualified backgrounds include 2+ years experience in the settlements and custody of all types of global assets.  A bachelor?s degree in accounting of finance is preferred.  Must be familiar with global market practices including trade cycles, clearing and depository systems, buy-in practice and pre-matching requirements.  Must be able to successfully work in a fast paced, deadline- driven environment.  Must be highly motivated, and possess strong organizational and communication skills and a desire to learn.
