The Customer Care Financial Representative has accountability for assigned accounts both operationally and analytically, including accountability of the deduction portfolio, efficiency initiative support, deduction collections and Field Sales Support. Provides reporting for Sales team relative to investment and budget.
Key Responsibilities:Process the system set up of new customers to Masterfoods USA. Manage and control the deduction resolution process in connection with internal and external business partners including brokers, sales representatives, customers, and third party vendors.Provide communication to customers, Customer Care Managers, Sales Teams regarding deduction trends, status and invalid deduction activity. Provide recommendation for process improvement where appropriate.Works with account team and others to resolve root cause issues which cause unnecessary deductions. Assists with set up and routine support of MFUSA and Customer initiatives. (could include efficiency programs, pick up, promotion payment programs) Provide reporting relative to deduction activity. Collect invalid deductions. Proactively recognize customer payments patterns outside agreed policies Demonstrate understanding of P&L components and impact Customer Care Finance Representative has on the P&L. Participate in projects in both Customer Care and cross functional arenas.
Minimum Qualifications:
1 year of business experience
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Limited travel may be required
Some overtime may be required
Successful completion of a drug and background screen
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Finance
Basic analytical skills
Knowledge of Access
Knowledge of collection methods
Knowledge of basic deduction policies, processes and fundamental bankruptcy understanding
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, volume
Ability to utilize data reporting systems (Business Objects)
Solid judgment and decision making ability
Strong interpersonal persuasion skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Company-paid relocation is not available for this position.
