Database Analyst

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience to support the following job responsibilities:A data scrubber:  someone who will get to know our data inside and out, works with those who send us files to get the right feeds and the right formats.  They will document our tables and the mappings to our tables as well as run data exception queries developed by the development team.  They will be responsible for resolving all data related issues and providing daily updates to the production database.A data query analyst:  someone who can design and run queries in Access on an ad-hoc, as needed basis. A report writer:  someone who can develop and produce reports from Access or other report writing software.A business analyst:  someone who can write specifications and act as liaison between the users and development team. Prefer someone with experience in training, testing and documentation. This person needs to be extremely detail oriented and able to solve problems independently.  They need to be energetic and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills:

 

Expert in Microsoft Access with some knowledge of SQL

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Excellent analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel & Word

Mortgage servicing experience a plus.

 

Education:

 

Some college preferred

4 year degree desired
