Dealer Account Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a Dealer Account Sales Rep to cover the Portland territory.  The primary function for this position will be to develop and support successful business relationships with dealer and credit union clientele.  Maintain and increase loan volume and other CUDL products through dealership?s market share in a defined region through established training and marketing programs. 

 

­The principal responsibilities for this position will be as follows:

 Business Development: Identify, present and bring to proper contract specific vehicle dealers by region.  Establish an effective dealer training regiment to maintain working system with both successful Dealer clients and those viewed as inactive.  Encourage a strong working relationship between both Credit Union and Dealer clientele.  Product Maintenance: Responsible for equipment hardware and software installation, maintenance and call system troubleshooting.  Properly prepare dealer personnel for system usage.  Responsible for achieving plan goals for all CUDL products within assigned dealer region. Service and support assigned CUDL dealers.Regional Reporting: Maintain dealer database, credit union and dealer call reports, mileage reports and all other related records as outlined by regional management. Monitor and report weekly to regional management on all relative trends affecting both the dealer retail market and the credit union industry.  Corporate Brand Promotion: Attend regional credit union Chapter functions.  Encourage specific focus meetings between credit union and dealer clients.

 

Requirements:

At a minimum, each candidate should possess the following skills, experience and background.

 BA/BS degree or commensurate experience needed.Three years successful experience in indirect auto sales.  Must have good knowledge of credit unions, leasing and indirect automotive lending.Work independently with a high level of initiative.Excellent oral, written, presentation and analytical skills.Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and established goals.Specialized problem solving and trouble shooting skills in the dealer business model.Excellent internal and external customer skills.Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, Internet and email skills.Extensive travel will be necessary.
