Director, Financial Analysis

MAJOR DUTIES: • An analytic resource following key areas of the company, focusing on analysis of and projects for specific business units:  corporate finance, strategy & planning, senior management and division management
? Strategic and Annual Planning:  Develop financial and strategic inputs for the planning process, support price forecasts with businesses and analyze business performance vs. plans and prior periods.
? Manage corporate model, which is used to assemble strategic and annual plans, analyze acquisitions and divestitures, and conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis.
? Work closely with CFO and VP Financial Planning & Analysis to prepare key materials for Board of Directors and Senior Management meetings.
? Prepare presentations for Board of Directors, Senior Management, and external audiences, such as analysts, shareholders, and rating agencies.  Work with Investor Relations and Treasury.
? Serve as an analytic resource and/or process leader for special strategic and other projects for the company.
? Competitive and Market Analysis:  Analyze and report on the primary competitors for each business area, track the supply/demand relationships for products in each business area and analyze business performance vs. competitors.  Provide information of corporate-wide interest.

EDUCATION:
MBA with a quantitative/analytical undergraduate degree preferred (Business, Engineering or Mathematics)

WORK EXPERIENCE:
? 7-10 years financial analysis and/or planning experience
? 3-5 years related management experience
? Proven track record of working well in a team/collaborative environment and a value-added contributor
? Must have a demonstrated, strong work ethic
? Must have experience with and a preference for the business partner role

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
? Strong quantitative skills
? Excellent written and verbal communications skills
? Financial analysis and modeling, competitive and market analysis, aptitude for critical thinking and managing analytical complexity
? Able to balance precision with directionally-correct analysis
? Knowledge of cash flow analysis, managerial accounting, valuation and financial ratio analysis
? Able to demonstrate a track record of success, initiative, good business judgment, and the ability to get things done
? Comfortable working with all levels within the company, including senior management
? Ability to manage projects, driving both process and analysis
