Director of Business Analysis

We are currently looking for a Director of Business Analysis for our Santa Ana, CA office. The Director of Business Analysis directs the business unit responsible for financial analysis to support business performance analysis and management decision-making. This position works with senior management to provide financial and technical analysis and recommendations regarding current and/or proposed product lines, pricing models and methodologies, business opportunities, and/or internal measurements and methodologies.

The essential responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

? Directs business unit financial analysis to support business performance analysis and management decision-making.
? Works with senior management to provide financial and technical analysis regarding current and or proposed product lines, pricing models and methodologies and/or internal measurements and methodologies.
? Directs the development of qualitative and quantitative analysis to include product pricing, new business opportunities, forecasts, and/or cost-benefit analysis.
? Manage staff by assigning and reviewing work to support business unit and department analysis and reporting needs. Prepare performance reviews and provide training, planning and career development, as appropriate.
? Define department objectives and goals. Identify methods and resources and provide guidance to staff members.
? Direct the preparation of analysis and presentations, assess the impact of the analysis, identify conclusions, opportunities and risks, and make appropriate recommendations.
? Respond to requests from senior management, business managers, product development and marketing for analysis and metrics.
? Assess the financial impact of analysis and makes recommendations based on the results.
? Define and develop methods and procedures to prepare and maintain analytics.
? Consult with executive management, corporate finance, other internal departments and external resources to provide analysis, conclusions, opportunities and risks.

Experience Required:
? Bachelor?s degree in technical field from an accredited university (Bio-Medical, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering etc.), preferred
? MBA required
? 3-5 years Medical Device experience, preferred
? Experience in a Manufacturing and Engineering Development Environment
? Excellent organizational and technical skills required
? Ability to react quickly and effectively in a fast paced environment
? Must be self motivated
? Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
