Director of Collections Technology

  Purpose of Position: 

This key position oversees teams that are responsible for Collections operational reporting and analysis for all levels of management, collections letter production, and all Collections call center technologies across multiple sites. 

 

Basic Responsibilities: 

? Oversee dialer team and associated strategies.  Ensure that operational objectives are being met as it relates to autodialer function.  Work to find improvements to enhance efficiency of system.  Provide reporting on system performance.

? Oversee Collections technology upgrades and implementations.  Work with the Information Technology group to ensure that implementations and upgrades are handled with the best interests of operations in mind.

? Oversee MIS/Reporting functions.  Provide operational reporting for all Collections Units.  Provide Ad-hoc reporting for various levels of Management, up to and including the CEO/Senior Executive team.

? Oversee Letter Campaigns.  Ensure that Collections letter campaigns are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.  Offer input on verbiage, delivery methods, and appearance.  Work with various outside vendors to support process.

? Oversee Charge-Off Processing.  Ensure that various charge-off processes function correctly and balance. 

? Manage various other projects as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications: 

Qualified candidates must posses a degree in a technical, analytical, or statistical discipline or an acceptable blend of education and experience. Project Management experience required.  3+ Years Call Center Management experience required, preferably in a Collections environment. Risk Management experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to deal effectively with all levels of management. Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and other Data Warehouse platforms. Knowledge of FDR, Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access. Experience managing call center technologies. (Dialer, VRU, ACD, etc.)  Experience with advanced analytical tools such as SAS, Crystal Reports, or Micro Strategy helpful.
