Director of New Business Development

A major, National Financial Services and Software Corporation is seeking to employ a Director of New Business Development to work at not only state and regional sectors, but also be responsible for a national focus.  The corporation services the banking and credit union sectors in all aspects of financial software.  The company holds a major position as a top tier supplier to the industry.

Job Description:

The Director of New Business Development will provide the following direction and develop the following aspects for the division:
Target, develop and manage 3rd party relationships with the financial services market:  consultants, banking associations (state, regional and national), banker's banks, Federal Reserve Banks & national trade organizations.
Target, manage and develop 3rd party relationships with national solution providers that can use or enhance the functionality of the company's solution.
Develop and present informational briefings, seminars, webinars and other speaking engagements or presentations that promote the company's software solutions and services for Image processing and payment services.
The position requires the ability to write white papers, place articles and other documents as needed for industry trade organizations.
Attend tradeshows and client conferences as necessary.

Professional Background needed to qualify for this position:
Must have a degree.
10 plus years in imaging, document imaging, understanding of the payment systems and/or other combinations that will provide industry knowledge of the check imaging/payment industry, as it applies to banks and credit unions.
One of the most important traits or professional skills is the ability to build business relationships:  to develop business relationships and/or what is commonly referred to as knowing how to develop business!
Strong presentation and writing skills, including the ability to develop articles, white papers and presentations.
Strong negotiation skills.
A self-starter, who is a team player/outgoing "people-person"!

Compensation and Office/Operational Plans:

Base range $85K+ with a total comp planned for $150K+
