Disposition Support Specialist

CITY: Cedar Rapids STATE: Iowa COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Responsible for maintaining disposition process and voucher clearing in a timely manner
*Responsible voucher clearing for multiple portfolios
*Identify training needs of other associates in regards vouchers and dispositions
*Termination and dispositions of accounts
*Application and re-application of cash
*Interaction with operating centers to resolve issues, able to facilitate and drive issue resolution
*Analyze and set up check generation records requested refunds
*Facilitate and drive for timely resolution of issues with operating centers
*Responsible for renewal processing and rebooking
*Analyze and understand sub ledgers and accounting entries made during the disposition and rebooking process
*Ensure compliance with business rules on all transactions processed
*Reconcile and process complex account transactions
*Reliable attendance is an essential job function as processes are deadline critical
*Meet/exceed targeted goals and service standards
*Other duties and special projects (such as titling or UCC with conversions) as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
*High school diploma or GED
*Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with a professional demeanor
*Excellent communication skills-interpersonal, verbal, and written
*Self starter; attention to detail; accurate and well organized
*Strong problem solving, analytical and mathematical skills
*Focused on process improvements and quality and driving change
*Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and continually meet deadlines (must be able to adjust schedule and workload to meet fiscal close obligations)
*Strong work ethic demonstrated through attendance, individual and team commitments
*Professional mannerisms and the ability to listen and probe, determine root causes and resolve issues quickly when necessary
*Ability to present and understand metrics and data
*Excellent skills to handle specialized processing
*Strong customer service focus
*Ability to work with computerized systems - proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
*Ability to cooperate and build positive, productive relationships with customers and team members

Desired:
*2+ years of previous customer service and related experience
*Previous work in a leasing or financial services environment
*General sub ledger knowledge
*Previous reporting experience
*At least a 2-year college degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)
*Experience with other Microsoft applications
