Divisional Sales Director (Western Division. Home Base Location: Los Angeles)

 

Join the 401(k) Products Department, Sales Development Team, to support and train Smith Barney Financial Advisors in the sales service of 401(k) and other qualified plan products and services.

 Conduct branch and individual Financial Advisor presentations and training on products, plan design, industry trends, sales ideas, etc. Consult on product selection and plan design considerations with individual Financial Advisors Accompany Financial Advisors, upon request, on sales presentations in excess of $20 million Implement sales campaigns and divisional/regional marketing initiatives Educate 401(k) Provider wholesaler teams on Smith Barney sales initiatives, systems, and business practices; coordinate Providers' wholesaling activities Assist in Financial Advisor recruiting efforts Foster partnering relationship with internal product/training areas including Wealth Management, Mutual Funds & Annuities, Corporate Client Group, and Consulting Group Provide feedback to Marketing and Product groups regarding service and product enhancement

 

BA or BS required Series 6 or 7 required. State insurance license required; or must be obtained within one year In depth knowledge of the 401(k)/Qualified Plan business Wholesaling experience a plus 5-7 years related experience in 401(k)/Qualified Plan sales Excellent communication skills Microsoft Office proficiency
