Documentation Team Leader

CITY: Cedar Rapids STATE: Iowa COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Coordinates workflow for cross-business operations, including process productivity and compliance requirements, business reporting needs, and communications.
* Assist with interviewing and selection of team members
* Provide superior customer service by focusing on your team and their individual customer needs
* Drive service quality, productivity, and meet or exceed results across group
* Set aggressive but attainable business objectives for improving the team's performance
* Monitor and evaluate performance of the team, rewarding behaviors and/or performance when appropriate as well as addressing performance and behavioral issues as they arise
* Provide hands on assistance to team members while serving as an escalation point for business unit's customer issues and complaints
* Serve as a role model and mentor your team and others
* Work closely with teams to ensure related processes operate efficiently and effectively implement improvements when necessary
* Enjoys developing people, coaching, team building
* Demonstrated ability to change, identify process improvements and follow through with implementation when appropriate
* Accountable for pulling reports and maintaining metrics

Qualifications/Requirements:
* 2+ years of supervisory experience
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
* Energetic with the ability to energize others
* Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written)
* Self starter with the ability to work independently
* Well organized with an attention to detail
* Works well within a team and ability to build relationships cross-functionally
* Demonstrated negotiation and escalation skills
* The "edge" to make difficult decision and execute on them
* Strong problem solving ability
* Coaching and leadership skills that will enable the team to meet/exceed goals

Desired:
* 4-year college degree
* Knowledge of GE/GE Capital business preferably with a leasing business
* Leasing, telecommunications or financial services industry experience
* Six Sigma Lean/Greenbelt trained/certified
