E-Media Mangager

BlackRock is one of the largest publicly traded investment management firms in the United States with $464 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2006. BlackRock manages assets on behalf of institutional and individual investors worldwide through a variety of equity, fixed income, liquidity and alternative investment products. In February 2006, BlackRock announced its intention to merge with Merrill Lynch Investment Management. The transaction, which is expected to close at the end of the third quarter, will create a global investment management leader with assets in excess of $1 trillion.

 

Purpose of Position:

This function provides broadcast and web media to BlackRock. Candidate is responsible for development and production of webcasting, recorded presentations (i.e., BrainShark/WebEx), video conferences, and Institutional web content. Supports firm-wide initiatives and projects in corporate marketing as needed.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

? Work with marketing representatives and product management to develop e-delivered presentations of BlackRock products and services.

 

? Develop and produce 2-5 senior executive and portfolio manager webcasts  monthly using internal and potentially external studio services.

 

? Maintain content for U.S. Institutional BlackRock website.

 

? Provide content for the BlackRock University product training portal as needed by the business.

 

? Maintain and promote awareness of the latest e-delivery communications media and serve as its champion throughout BlackRock.

 

 

Qualifications:

? Some background in e-media

? Ability to multi-task, often under considerable time constraint

? Strong project management skills

? Ability to work with all levels of colleagues, throughout BlackRock, including senior executives

? An considerable, proactive interest in e-media

? Detail orientation and savvy to navigate throughout the BlackRock organization

? Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines

? Asset management & institutional financial services experience preferred

? Bachelor's Degree Requred
