Enterprise Sales Development Executive
IDT, an International company based in Newark, NJ is looking for an Enterprise Sales Development Executive.
Overview:
Reporting to the SVP Enterprise Division, the Sales Development Executive will be responsible for two main activities:
? Generate qualified sales leads on behalf of three regionally-based Sales VPs. This team will proactively define and execute sales strategies (phone and email campaigns, association marketing, event sponsorship, etc.) that effectively penetrate new verticals and accounts.
? Initiate and manage the full sales cycle for business opportunities that can be closed over the phone (i.e. smaller deployments of standard or packaged stored value products)
This position will play a key role in validating IDT Financial Services in the marketplace while helping to quickly generate profitable revenues. A professional growth path to outside sales is available and encouraged for top performers.
Compensation:
Comprised of base salary and commission plan competitive to market and candidate experience, plus a full complement of health and welfare benefits.
The Products:
The Financial Services suite of prepaid and stored value services includes generic or customized prepaid debit programs, payroll cards, prepaid calling cards, virtual or cardless PAN applications, cash dispenser/acceptor ATM/Kiosks, closed and open-loop gift and customer rewards cards, prepaid wireless programs, HSA/FSA benefit cards and loyalty cards.
Transaction services under deployment include international money transfer or remittance services, check encashment, bill payment and cash acceptance services (loading).
In addition, the Company envisions providing a variety of short term, small balance lending products in the near future, with the inaugural product of overdraft protection serving prepaid debit cardholders.
Responsibilities:
? Initiate the enterprise sales process through outbound prospecting activities. Generate customer referrals by leveraging internal and external relationships.
? Utilize consultative selling skills to conduct fruitful discovery calls with solution recommenders and decision makers. Seamlessly transition qualified leads for Enterprise opportunities to Sales VPs. Close deals for basic products over the phone.
? Develop and maintain knowledge of all IDT business lines.
? Attend trade shows, conferences, or other industry-related events
? Provide timely and accurate reporting of key information such as prospecting activity, sales pipeline, customer issues, competitive intelligence and industry trends.
Requirements:
? 3+ years of proven, above-quota experience in an inside or outside sales capacity.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly professional phone manner is a must.
? Ability to diagnose both active and latent customer needs and to effectively position IDT's capabilities as the preferred solution.
? Prior experience selling into financial services companies (banks, credit unions, MSBs, etc.), Fortune 1000 firms or other high-volume payment environments (e-commerce, travel, government, etc.) is extremely desirable.
? Proficient in all major PC applications (MS Office suite, Internet, etc.).
? Experience with lead management systems such as Salesforce.com, ACT, Goldmine, etc.
? Results oriented performer who will do whatever it takes to increase market share, create new value propositions for our customers, and achieve or exceed plan expectations
? BS/BA required
? Familiarity with stored value and prepaid solutions a major advantage. Startup and/or early stage business experience is also desirable.
