We are currently working on an exclusive initiative for one of the Premier U.S. Investment Banks to assist in the Re engineering of their Global Equity Derivative Technology Division.

 

A. Equity Derivative Sr. Project Manager.  Manage a staff of 15.  Responsible for setting the strategic technology direction for the next generation of technology for volatility, Listed, and exotic options.  Successful candidate must have a track record of accomplishment within this discipline and be technical to the Architectural level.  High Visibility and frequent interaction with Business Unit. Substantial operating and capital budget.  Excellent opportunity for upward mobility.

 

B. Project Manager Equity Derivative Risk Management Systems.  Project teams in NY and London.  Mandate of this initiative is to develop a flexible, robust, and user friendly way for traders and risk managers to calculate risk analytics, view positions and risk exposure, price new deals, monitor P&L and perform Market Simulations.

Key Responsibilities:  Project Planning, Management and delivery of full lifecycle from initiation to completion.  Staffing and management of project team.  Working closely with trading and sales reporting progress to members of the business unit.

 

C. Sr. Programmer Analyst ? Equity Derivative, Hybrids and Structured Product desks.  Develop and Support all front office technology covering electronic trading, Listed options, external and customer trade valuations.  Extensive user interface and visibility. 

 

- Must be able to work in a trading floor environment.

- Required technical skills Java/J2EE, SQL, Unix/Linux, Tibco. 

- Good communication skills. 

- Ability to work under time constraints

- Initiative and team player

 

D. Equity Derivative Sr. Business Analyst/Product Development

- Subject matter expert in the equity derivative product lines

- Manage and Improve the front to back project lifecycle including the following:

Requirement gathering and documentation. Request Management and prioritization.

Release packaging and scheduling.

Oversight of development & QA process.

Improve efficiency of overall product development lifecycle, including capturing info in common tools, comprehensive interviews with traders, sales people, compliance and operations.

Candidate must be highly detail oriented and organized.  Can work autonomously with little or no supervision.

Ability to understand new business flows and products quickly. Can grasp technical concepts and implementation details.

Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Experience working with traders under high pressure situations.

 

E.  Sr. Programmer Analyst

Provide application development system solutions to support Volatility trading in New York.  Work closely with traders to build front office trading applications Individual must have outstanding communication and relationship management skills, leadership, potential and analytical ability.  Proven track record of delivery with exposure to Equity Derivative Trading (Flow Volatility, Convertables and Flow Analytics).
