We are seeking an Equity Derivative Support Operations Manager in Downtown Manhattan. You will manage a staff of 4 administrators who are responsible for processing OTC Equity Derivatives.  You will ensure that all processes are completed daily and in a timely manner.  Products include swaps, options, variable delivery forwards. Option variations include Asians, Cliquets, Digitals, Barriers.  You will be responsible for trade validation, rate resets, collateral, dividends, daily yield curve maintenance, equity prices maintenance, corporate actions, equity P&L, deal documentation and settlements.  You will be directly responsible for ensuring that Bank policies and procedures are followed as well as writing/updating procedures.  Responsibilities include developing, training, evaluating & counseling staff; interacting with different area of the Bank (ie. Front office, Legal, Credit, Risk Management, Compliance and Auditors); assisting in the re-engineering of operational infrastructure to support the growing Equity Trading business; and project managing system implementations, updates and contingency testing.

 

 To qualify, you must have a minimum of 2 years related experience in Trading Services Support - equity derivative systems. Must have knowledge of Equity ISDA definitions, Murex a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft applications software including Excel and good written/oral communications skills are required. Must have Front Office and accounting risk management exposure.  Supervisory experience strongly preferred. College degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
