Executions Specialist

NewCo will be in formation until September 2006 and operational thereafter. It will be in the business of writing of credit default swaps (?CDS?) on corporate, asset-backed, and CDO tranche risks.

The ideal candidate for this position will have had extensive experience administering credit derivatives executions and processing for a large financial institution. He or she will have had significant experience with methods for archiving, logging and transmitting documents and will have both the organizational and interpersonal skills necessary for a position that requires considerable interaction with other members of NewCo as well as counterparties, outside counsel and service providers.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Works actively with NewCo teammates responsible for legal, systems and accounting to develop procedures for processing, transmitting, archiving and cataloging NewCo?s CDS portfolio
Monitors and facilitates the operations of the aforementioned
Works actively both before and after the execution of a CDS trade to insure that draft and final documentation is distributed and received and that executed documents are obtained
Works with teammates to effect translation of CDS terms into relevant computer languages
Liaises with outside counsel as necessary in connection with CDS transactions for which outside counsel is engaged

 

RequirementsMinimum two years administrative experience in the financial industry
Significant experience and comfort with computer systems, especially systems for archiving and cataloging documentation
Experience managing relationships with business counterparties and external counsel
Skill and energy required to manage multiple transactions at the same time
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High level of energy, entrepreneurial attitude
