FA QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the financial aid audit process for CPC.

 

FA QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Hoffman Estates, IL

 

Responsibilities:QA review of CPC FA files.Support and coach CPC staff in QA preparations.Ensure CPC has all required documentation for school processes. Review and provide input for CPC?s corrective action plans and training. Follow up with findings to ensure that the CPC is on track for resolution. Review status of findings and effectiveness of resolutions to eliminate repeat findings.

? Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal student financial aid program regulations and policies.

? Manage completion of financial aid projects and other assigned tasks as requested.

 

Requirements:Bachelor Degree is preferred2-3 years of experience in Title IV, financial aid field.Current on federal and applicable state financial aid program laws, and regulations.Demonstrated knowledge of federal student aid regulations, application procedures, and eligibility formulas required.Self-Management - maintains ownership over ultimate outcome; follows through on tasks despite obstacles; maintains high standards of personal integrity and behaves in accordance to expressed beliefs and commitment.Computer proficiency.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer services skills.Demonstration of strong writing, editing and proofreading skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel including formatting, linking, formula?s (intermediate to advanced)Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint including presentations, slideshows (adding graphics, sounds, rearranging slides, etc., intermediate to advanced) .
