Position Description:

Genworth Financial Inc. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Partner with Sales, Marketing and BD Leaders for Life Insurance Growth Initiatives and CI analysis
* Partner with Protection Segment COE Leader for Life Insurance New Business initiatives
* Focal point for all Lynchburg business development activities, including coordination and development of acquisition strategies and financial/strategic evaluation, and coordination of efforts with GNW B/D
*Lead Distribution Effectiveness and Customer Profitability initiatives.
* Participate in preparation of high level analysis and presentations to Senior Leadership Team; keep Senior Leadership apprised of business financials, and work with business leaders to generate key strategic actions and plans on an ongoing basis.
*Use Quality tools and concepts to implement financial processes, routines and controls.
*Track and monitor all expenses and recommend needed changes to management

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, economics or equivalent
* 8+ yrs financial analysis experience
* Excellent analytical skills
* Strong ability to work across functions and with all levels of management
* Strong ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
* Knowledge of Finance systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
*Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

DESIRED:
* CPA and/or MBA
