Bottom Line: Heavy excel, some MS Access, some FP&A, heavy consolidation. attention to detail, and will be doing account reconciliations regularly.

Financial Analyst(Accounts Payable Analyst)

Job Description:

Individual will be part of a fast paced, high volume Accounts Payable organization supporting US Expense and Worldwide Manufacturing. Individual will work with global end-users, treasury, financial institutions, taxing authorities and internal management.

Individual will assist with adding/maintaining accurate supplier information in Oracle and with making accurate, timely payments. Individual will also assist with compiling accurate and timely 1099 and EDD reporting data along with preparing state Unclaimed Property filings.

This job requires strong analytical skills and the ability to understand the root cause of issues that occur. Must be able to reconcile cash management reports and resolve issues accurately, timely and independently.Individual should be a self-starter who is highly motivated and has Oracle 11i Accounts Payable experience and be skilled in MS-Word, MS-Excel. Must be detail orientated with excellent time management skills and have first-rate customer service and follow up processes.
Must be an excellent communicator - written and verbal.Have an understanding of client group's needs and how they impact work processes and deliverables. May provide guidance across other functions within the same organization. Able to present, organize, and convey problems or issues within and across other functions and within the same organization. Ability to exercise judgment within defined practices and policies to determine appropriate action.

Requirements:

1. 2-3 Years related experience in Accounts Payable.

2.1-3 Years of Oracle, Excel and Word experience.

3.Great communication skills(this is essential for this position, do not submit candidates who are not clear and energetic communicators)

4.Basic Accounting knowledge(Credits, Debits)
