Financial Analyst - Corporate Legal - Business Planning

The Walt Disney Company's Corporate Legal Department in Burbank is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Financial Analyst.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Consolidation of Corporate Legal's budget and forecast
- Financial analysis (e.g. operating cost, capital spend, headcount)
- Support the development and maintenance of the Serengeti system (external legal matter management)
- Support the development and maintenance of Corporate Legal's cost and time allocation methodology
- Support development of standardized monthly, quarterly, and annual finance procedures
- Support statutory compliance as it relates to international external legal bills
- Provide attorney's guidance as it relates to finance matters (e.g. budget, forecast, T&E, purchasing)
- Special projects (e.g. documentation of policies and procedures, development of standard business warehouse reports)
- Performance scoring of the Corporate Legal department

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- 2 to 4 years of consulting, Public Accounting, or mix of consulting/Public Accounting and private industry experience preferred
- Ability to compile financial statements (e.g. P&L, B/S, cash flow)
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (both oral & written)
- Professional demeanor, focused, articulate and well organized
- Able to build and maintain relationships
- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Excellent Excel and Power-Point skills
- Entertainment experience a plus
- Corporate Legal or experience in a service organization preferred
- SAP/Business Warehouse experience
