Financial Analyst III -- Mortgage Finance

Right now, we have a challenging opportunity available for a Financial Analyst III (Mortgage Finance) at our Chicago Headquarters...

Coordination of the forecasting and budgeting process for the Mortgage LOB (NatRes).  Provide support to the NatRes Finance team in the budget/forecasting seasons. Consolidation/preparation of forecasting and budgeting presentations/spreadsheets for Senior Management and Leadership Team meetings.  Review and implement possible new models for forecasting/budget process. Assist with month end process for NatRes.  Assist in strategic and other projects related to NatRes.  Supervison of 1 FTE.  The candidate will work closely with the assigned LOB's senior management and with the Departmental Head in providing value-added decision support information for the business. This position offers excellent opportunities to gain exposure to a major part of the Bank and provide excellent customer service to one of the Bank's major LOBs.  The ideal candidate will have exposure to all aspects of the mortgage business and all levels of management.

 

Four year college degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field that requires analytical ability.

Five to seven years of business related experience.  Mortgage banking experience desired. 

Must have strong PC related skills.  Good communication with all levels of management, problem-solving and analytical skills are crucial components of success.

Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with colleagues at all levels is crucial.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The person should also display exemplary motivational and organizational skills along with the ability to multitask.
