The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial and business initiatives of the Marketing Teams. Reporting to the Finance Manager - Marketing, this specific position supports the fast growing Recon Business Unit with annual sales in excess of $1 billion. This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the financial direction of this Business Unit and play a key role in ensuring the unit delivers on it's financial and business priorities. Monthly sales analysis including identification, investigation and reporting of key product trends and brand performance.Financial evaluation of project investments across key financial metrics and performance indicators. Tracking and analysis of marketing expenses.Preparation of rolling monthly projections and involvement in annual budgeting and strategic planning process.Monitoring of key performance indicators against plan/budget, reporting on key variances and recommending appropriate correction actions where necessary.Qualifications:
3+ years financial work experienceMBA and Public Accounting experience preferredKnowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, and COGNOSStrong PC skillsProficiency with MS Office product suite.Strong analytical skills Ability to multi-task assignments and prioritize workload accordingly in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively and persuasively via written or oral communication channels to all levels of management.Education: Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
