Financial Analyst - Treasury

Job Responsibilities:
Execute daily funding process for review and distribution. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly investor reporting for securitization trusts and warehouses. Maintain detailed records adequate to support periodic reviews / audits by internal and external auditors. Apply appropriate models to supply the necessary checks and balances for accurate and timely reporting. Monitor compliance with internal policies / procedures, and compliance with activities in accordance with securitization transaction documents. Creation and development of complex financial and portfolio models to: predict funding needs, portfolio performance and projected cash flows, acquisition valuations, etc. Mining and extraction of portfolio data to support statistical performance analysis, stratifying data in multiple variations, using MS SQL, Access, and/or other data mining tools. Transform data into information and recommendations. Proactively work within team to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness. Ad hoc and sundry analysis. Support multiple internal and external groups in various ad hoc and sundry analysis projects

 Basic Minimum Requirements:

3 - 5 years of consumer finance experience, specifically in reporting and analyzing financial & portfolio data. Student Loan Industry a plus. Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel and Access. Strong database mining skills. Visual Basic knowledge preferred. Strong analytical and problem solving skills Asset-Backed Securities transactions experience preferred, along with applicable SEC Reporting (8K, 10D, 10K).

Minimum Education:


1. Bachelors Degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Masters Degree a plus.
