Financial Analyst with the Latin American Controller

Major Duties and Functions Include:
Internal Control environment monitoring and SOX implementation
Accounting and financial reporting, policies and application of GAAP
Develop SOX program for International in coordination with other Regional staff
Review Internal and External Audit findings and see that action plans are implemented on a timely basis.
Management of Internal Audit open issues database.
In conjunction with in-country staff, assist in the establishment of a stronger control environment.
Support integration efforts related to any potential acquisitions.
Assist Latin American Zone Controller in ensuring the meeting of reporting requirements on a timely basis.
Assist Latin American line Controller in enhancing the control structure and oversight around GAAP reporting ensuring compliance in conformity with US practice. What You Need to Succeed:


CPA/MBA a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Proficient in Spanish is a must.
Fully versed in the conceptual and practical aspect of controls and control frameworks necessary in administrative and financial and operational processes.
Demonstrated ability in US GAAP, including determination and appropriate application.
Able to work in a team as well as an individual is a must.
Strong Decision-making and problem solving skills are a must.
Willingness and the ability to travel up to 50% or the time to Latin America.
