Financial Applications Analyst

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Experienced PeopleSoft/JDE Financial. The Financial Systems group within Information Systems is responsible for all Financial system rollouts within Hamilton Sundstrand. The primary deliverables are the Financial modules and sub-modules of JD Edwards ERP software. These include General Finance, Operations Finance, Job Cost Finance, Pricing and Invoicing.

The responsibility of this position is the following:

-JDE One World / World Experience
-Experience converting from J.D. Edwards World to J. D. Edwards One World software.

-Cost Accounting knowledge, setup and configuration of the following modules.
-Product Costing
-Job Cost / Contract Billing
-Manufacturing Accounting
-Variance Accounting.

-Inventory / Product Data Management knowledge all a plus.

-General Accounting knowledge, setup and configuration of the following modules.
-General Ledger
-Accounts Payable
-Accounts Receivable
-Fixed Assets
-Multicurrency a plus.
-Budgets





-Other application exposure a definite plus.
-Procurement
-Product Data Management
-Shop Floor Control
-Forecasting
-Sales Order Processing
-Pricing



BS/BA in Information Technology or Finance, Computer Science or related field.
MBA a plus.

5-7+ years of JDE/OneWorld XE/PSE1 experience v8.11+, with demonstrated success throughout the full system development life cycle.

Project Management experience.
Strong conceptual abilities (systematic thinking, problem analysis).
Business Process Reengineering/ Gap Analysis / spec writing abilities.
Collaborate effectively with business users. (ability to translate technical aspects and specifications to business terms and vise versa).
Capability to work in outsourced environment, ie. vendor management.
Financial business application experience.
7 to 10 years of Industry / IT, with Aerospace/Industrial experience beneficial.
