Financial Controller

 FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

 

Valenite, Tooling Supply US, located in South Carolina, has an immediate opening for a Financial Controller position.

 

Financial Controller will report to the General Manager and the following responsibilities for this position will include:

 The Financial Controller will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support for TSUS/W Plant management.

 Manage all financial responsibilities of the TSUS/W operation units (Carbide, Advance Material, Power and Press Tool Plants) which will include results review, reporting, annual budgets, strategic business objectives, fixed asset acquisitions, analysis and control, inventory valuation and asset protection plans.

 Timely analysis, planning and implementation of financial and reporting systems for the units to maintain consistency and conformity to TSUS/W policies and procedures.

 Initiate, organize, and review systems and procedures to provide accurate and meaningful information to operation units and executive management.

 Assist the Corporate Controller and Sandvik Tooling management in any operational analysis required. Also assist in financial liaison between the operation units and executive management.

 Develop, analysis, and interpret appropriate analysis and/or special projects to provide meaningful information for management decisions.

 Perform regular reviews with management of business unit in order to share financial results and to facilitate learning.

 Work with government and local authorities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

 Special projects, as required.

 Business traveling, when required.

 

 

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidate will possess a BS degree in Finance, with minimum 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment; Exposure, through education and experience, in Finance, GL, and financial statements; Excellent computer and organizational skills.
