Financial Controller / Chief Financial Officer

 





Century Mining Corporation is searching for a Financial Controller / Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Management Team in Blaine, Washington.



 

The Company:

Century Mining Corporation is one of the fastest growing companies in the mining sector. The Company has an established presence in North America and recently completed an acquisition of the San Juan Gold Mine in Peru.  The Company expects 2006 revenues of approximately 70 million dollars.

 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with the existing executive team. Responsibilities will include public company financial reporting, audit coordination, audit committee  Communications, daily accounting management, and administration of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have an accounting degree, a US or Canadian accounting designation.Experience in a natural resource industry is preferred. The candidate should possess knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and SEC reporting.
