Financial Manager

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment?  Do you have expertise in financial reporting for a public company?  A growing entrepreneurial multi-national NYSE manufacturer is seeking a Financial Manager.  This position is part of the corporate finance group and reports directly to the Corporate Controller.  This professional will assist with the consolidation of financial statements for public reporting, prepare individual subsidiary financial statements, as well as perform in-depth account analysis and general accounting functions.  The Financial Manager will also interface with independent auditors, especially during year-end audits.

 

The candidate must be degreed, with a minimum of three to five years general accounting experience.  A CPA is highly desirable.  Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Enterprise financial systems, chart of accounts, GAAP principles, as well as consolidation of financial statements, including foreign entities, into public reports.  Experience with manufacturing companies and SEC reporting is a plus.  Ability to multi-task, excellent communication and teamwork skills is required.
