Financial Planning Manager

Responsibilities are to perform quarterly financial analysis, budget planning and development, PeopleSoft training, documentation and data integrity monitoring and resolution, general problem-solving. Supervision of Financial Analysts. Perform quarterly analysis to monitor financial health of the Foundation.  Prepare MTDC and expense projections quarterly and as-needed. Prepare annual budget and 3 year forecasts. Supervise financial analysts, encourage their development and job growth, provide training and coaching as needed. Financially monitor research projects and contracts - proactive review of issues and recommend courses of action. Monitor PeopleSoft Data Integrity, resolve issues and recommend actions to mitigate further problems.  Serve as a resource to answer questions and resolve budget checking errors. Document policies and procedures within Financial Planning and ensure compliance. Coordination and oversight of special projects as they arise.  General problem-solving for Financial Planning and other Foundation Staff.  Perform other duties as assigned.  PeopleSoft financial systems experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience

Minimum Education/Training Requirements:  B.S. in Accounting/Finance or related degree, MBA or MPA preferred.

Minimum Experience: 7 to 10 years directly related experience in financial planning and budgeting

Required Licenses, Certification or Registration: CPA desired
