Financial Reporting AVP

Our client, a separately capitalized member of a leading International Bank, is seeking a Financial Reporting AVP to lead a team of 3 staff accountants responsible for all financial reporting for this entity.  The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in IFRS financial reporting, a public accounting background and prior managerial experience.  Our client is offering a competitive compensation package.

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

?  Oversee 3 staff accountants

?  Prepare 10Qs, 10Ks and cash flow statements

?  Complete IFRS compliant parent company reporting

?  Conduct financial reviews on a quarterly and annual basis and management reporting on a monthly basis

?  Board presentations and press releases

?  Provide exposure reporting, Credit default swaps valuation and respond to rating agency requests

?  In charge of accounting and reporting for other domestic and foreign subsidiaries

 

Job Requirements:

?  5+ years experience in IFRS financial reporting

?  CPA

?  Managerial experience

?  Bachelor?s degree in accounting a must
