Financial Reporting- IT Support Professional

This position will function as a critical link between the Financial Reporting and Business Development groups, and the system products support team. ?Must work productively with personnel at all levels in supplementing support to groups to provide training, develop management, identify situations in which systems are not being used optimally, and make recommendations on how to better leverage systems.

Fund Analysis Specialist: Analyze printed books to determine requirements of design. Work with staff and clients?on book design changes. Perform fund analysis for new clients to determine the templates and development requirements.

Consultant: As issues arise on the floor that cannot be resolved among team members, advise on how others resources can be used to help in troubleshooting issues to determine if template maintenance is needed, or if the floor can resolve the issue.

Customer Service: Possess exceptional customer service skill while under general supervision, determine, and/or handles customer complaints with existing system(s) to determine exact nature of problem and implements remedial procedures for differing problems and correction procedures. Attend on-going training sessions to maintain a high level of technical fluency.

Project Management:

Confer with client to determine project requirements and constrains. Identify areas of concern. Refer concerns to superiors for resolution and follow-up.? Communicate system and schedule requirements to client and follow-up when requirements are not met.? Coordinate tasks between team members to ensure design is followed and schedule is met.? Set assignments and schedules within report teams. Advise department manager when additional resources emerge.? Prepare status reports to client, team manager, sales, and product manager as required.? Provide performance feedback to team manager.? Understand development of various financial documents.? Troubleshoot templates to locate errors and resolve errors expeditiously.? Comprehend data download requirements. Prepare specification for preprocessor.

Template Developer: This person would work on SI template requests that are critical and need to be completed. Any SI template work requests would still need to be entered into system, so that this time can be tracked.

Trainer: This person would be called on to provide floor training on the proprietary system, to help assess the competencies of staff, and make topical needs based training recommendations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

-Proficient in Windows, Excel and Word; experience with Access or SQL server

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills

-Motivated self-starter

-Team player

-2+ years of relevant manager/project manager experience

-4 Year college degree preferred

-Mutual Fund industry experience.
