Financial Support Analyst I


The ideal candidate will perform data research and analysis using database development to support the day to day operations of the Financial business areas, (Accounts Payables, Expense Payables, Product Accounting, etc.). This position also acts as a liaison between the Financial business areas and the Corporate IT department on Financial system initiatives. This position will also be responsible for the development of both standard and ad hoc reporting for the business areas

Position Requirements This position requires an Associates Degree in Information Systems or other related field; or equivalent work experience. Must have working knowledge of accounting concepts, strong analytical skills and effective problem solving skills. Training in computer-based analysis utilizing MS Excel and Access and a willingness to develop a working knowledge of query tools such as MicroStrategy and Easytrieve Plus are also required. One must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, be a self-starter who can manage and complete assigned projects on a timely basis, and have strong oral and written communication skills. Must be capable of working in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelors in Information systems or related field required or equivalent work experience.
