The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of all revenue/membership/cost databases and accounting systems required to produce related financial, health care cost, and membership/revenue reports. The position assists in administering quality control protocols related to the database systems to ensure accurate processing and appropriate use of data. The Analyst also assists in coordinating with financial staff for design, development and implementation of database strategies to support organization/department month-end reports and reporting tools. In addition, the Analyst consults with users to gather reporting requirements to design, develop, code, test, debug, train and document programs and procedures supported by the databases.

QUALIFICATIONS:?

EDUCATION / TRAINING:
-- Bachelors degree in Quantitative Systems, Accounting, Information Systems or Finance, from an accredited U.S. university;
-- MBA with emphasis in Information Technology or Accounting preferred

EXPERIENCE:
-- 2-4 years experience in a technical function utilizing multiple software applications in an accounting setting with expert knowledge in databases and report writing.
-- Advanced knowledge of Visual Basis, SQL, FoxPro, Access, FRX and Crystal reports.
-- Solid communication skills (oral and written) and strong interpersonal skills required.
-- Ability to effectively plan system enhancements or new implementations.
-- Ability to prioritize multiple projects without compromising desired timelines.
-- High level of independent judgment.
-- Must be flexible, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-- Healthcare HMO experience and knowledge of CSC MHS systems a plus.
