Fund Associate- Strong Salary and Bonus!
Hedge fund outside of Boston seeks an individual with strong accounting skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a new Fund Associate position in an expanding, entrepreneurial environment.  Responsibilities will be focused on one product but can expand into more products as you gain experience.  Develop pricing policies upon acquisition and prepare quarterly policy valuations using a third-party pricing model.  Prepare and deliver financial information to the Fund Administrator on a monthly basis and review the monthly financial package prepared by the Fund Administrator.  Review quarterly financial statements and investor capital statements, aid in preparing investor communications and prepare ad hoc analysis as requested.

Qualified candidates must have three to five years of accounting, operations, and investment experience and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.  Need strong knowledge of accounting, CPA a plus, background in either audit or tax would also be a plus.  Candidate must also have a background dealing with schedule K-1?s and experience communicating with high net worth clients/investors. This position requires an individual who is smart and who can roll up his or her sleeves.  Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks are crucial in this role.  This is a real opportunity for the right person.  Must have a car to get to the office.
