GSL Specialist II

In addition to the responsibilities of the GL Specialist I, the incumbent will provide support for special projects and assignments and be relied upon to handle the most complex and non-routine issues.  As senior staff members will be included in all systems testing for enhancements to the lending platform and the custody systems.  S/He will be able to take control and execute rational decisions in the absence of their immediate supervisor.

The qualified candidate will have a  Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance or 2-3 years of comparable work experience.  S/He must have a general knowledge of the securities industry. S/He must have a working knowledge of Excel, securities settlement and brokerage practices, and on-line systems.  S/He must possess strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently and under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines.  Quantitative Factors (if applicable).
