RESPONSIBILITIES:  The position will lead a team that is responsible for ensuring Visa meets its federal regulatory obligations. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the provisions of Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and be able to ensure that Visa meets the requirements of the Privacy Rule and Security Guidelines. The candidate must be able to quickly understand the adequacy of the design and operating effectiveness of information security controls protecting non-public personal information. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of information security risk assessment tools and approaches to guide enhancements to data protection.  Secondary Job Responsibilities:  The candidate must have the superior ability to build an effective team that can work across functions to achieve company compliance. Must be able to rank multiple high priority activities, and must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate to senior management the concepts of risk management to advocate enhancements to existing processes and improve information security controls.

 



REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelors degree + 10 years experience + thorough knowledge of information security and IT auditing principles. 5 years management experience.  CISA or CISSP certification required.
