Head of Reference Operations

The Data Management Operations Manager will be responsible for overall management of a group of 50+ staff who maintain securities and client reference data for custody, accounting, and Investment Management Outsourcing middle office business.?? Staff may be located in multiple global locations.? Responsibility for delivering comprehensive, accurate, reliable, and timely data to business areas and systems located in global corporate locations.? Enhance service to support new products and business areas, as appropriate.?
Expand asset and data element coverage to support complex securities and new data types.? Develop and lead team to deliver superior client service on a consistent basis.? Manage operational risk and reduce unit costs by defining and implementing operating changes and process improvements.? Participate in department/division wide working groups, task forces, and projects as assigned.? Work with Department Head in developing and executing strategic direction related to market data.? Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills required.? Position could reside in Quincy or European location.
Candidate must have knowledge of data vendors and products as well as securities instruments.? Experience with Data Management Operations in the middle/front office or equivalent required.?
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA preferred
